Summary: This type of spell is indeed what I have been waiting for.
Comment: Being able to damage enemy creatures directly using spell is what I have been waiting for. Damage opponent’s creature using spell will allow you to choose an option of ending your turn without placing a new creature. Such alternative option can potentially allow you to use Sorceries.
The only issue here is that we have only this card that does what I want. I need more spells like this.

nice!
Slightly off topic – but have you noticed, now that the new cards have been (nearly) fully revealed – that there’s a slight pattern?
Of the 16 new cards for fire, water, earth and wood – the 14th card for each element is something unique for each element.
i.e. Fire are getting a new betrayer, water are getting a new warlord, earth are getting a new hero, and wood are getting a new…
The 4th new card for each is a mimic, the 15th new card is an UR dragon and the 16th new card remains a secret for the time being…
I just find it interesting that they’re not making each element a clone of the others this time around (with the 14th card).
Oops, meant to say there that wood are getting a new betrayer – but one with the unique characteristic of allowing 3 of its kind in a deck.
Excellent card. This with an Altar will get you out of pretty much any bind. It could be a problem if you play too many and get a hand full of these against a fast deck, but even getting 2-3 damage out of this is worthwhile if you have a deck that can regenerate your hand.
this card will be called killer-jirva spell jejejejje
Wow! I’m more impressed that Paydak has actually said something positive!
Well, hopefully the message from me and others about total negativity is getting through – it’s not wanted and often totally wrong!!!
This card is going to be in everyone’s deck…
Coupled with any kind of mana generation and it’s a killer.
This game gets better and better!
For the first time I actually want more spells in my deck… I always used to limited myself to max 5 – now it may creep to 7!
Eeek!
Its a good spell but alter isn’t as good as you think the only time you should use an alter is when you have no cards in play. Biolith heeavy decks will skip until their opponent has placed 4 cards down then use alter gain 4 mana plus miinum 8 (2 per turn by 4) 12 mana.
Then they will place phaseus to clear the board and if the card survives one time sacrement it get 9 mana back then skip 4 more turns until 4 fields are occupied.
Then calamity comes out and possibly b skies then from there on every turn heavy hitters with high hp to seal a win.
