Summary: The message that Watanabe-san posted on the Japanese EOJ official site is in fact on the page where it titled as “Notification of Complete Disc Cancellation.”
Most likely this will not affect majority of this blog visitors. As I presume most people who comes to this blog is a medium to hardcore EOJ fans, you all should have already purchased Set.2 and Set.3 anyways. But this news makes me concern in two ways.
1) My understanding of Complete disc was to publicize this game more and get new players. So no complete Set seems like this won’t happen.
2) It does not seem too hard to make a complete Set disc as they already have Set.2 and Set.3 patch completed. All they need to do is to pack it up. Cancelling such simple task seem to indicate that they think this product simple won’t sell at all. Not even worth spending extra day or two to make this a product.
Well like I said in the previous post, I should still be able to get 100+ hours in this game with Set.3 addition. So as long as Sony keeps online, I guess that’s all I can ask.

OK, letting my optimistic imagination run wild now:
Maybe, because of all the delays the time to release the full disc set is also pushed back and coming too close to the announcing of the follow-up of EoJ. So that’s why they think it won’t be worth it anymore?
This clearly indicates that there will be no future updates or support for EOJ.
The only thing that can be hoped for is that there is a new game out soon EOJ 2 or something.
