Set.3 Biolith 2 ~ New Resource Management? ~

Summary: Like I said in the previous post, it is impossible to translate all 60 cards at once.  So I have rather decided to focus on those cards that have new concept or abilities.  In this entry, I have translated 3 more Biolith creatures each with some unique abilities.

Biolith Death Garden (R)

Race – Base
Affiliation – Biolith Castle

4/2/5/0

– When creatures is not summoned during enemy’s turn, during the resolution phase, the owner of Death Garden’s creature gain mana equal to the number of Biolith fields.
– Adjacent allied plant creatures adds 1 to their attack.
– During the owner’s resolution phase, allied plant creatures adds 1 to their health.

(A) None (C) None (B) S

Comment: What is really unique about this creature is the its ability to penalize enemy for not summoning a creature.  Though I still want to see a way to penalize a player 1 for skipping his first turn, which unfortunately this card does not provide.

Biolith Intruder (C)

Race – Mech
Affiliation – Biolith Castle

4/3/4/2

Poison (When this creature’s attack ends, the target creature will lose half of its health. )

(A) N (C) N (B) S

Comment: New ability called Poison added in Set.3.

Biolith Centry (UC)

Race – Mech
Affiliation – Biolith Castle

4/4/4/2+

– This creature’s attack equals the number cards in the player’s hand + 2.

(A) N/E/S/W (C) N/E/S/W (B) None

Comment: First of all, this reuse of Battlemaster illustration seem to make the Battle Master bit cheaper in its value, but more important point about this card is its ability of increasing attack based on the number of cards in the player’s hand.  If I recall, with the introduction of set 2, we have started to use Player’s Remaining Mana for certain abilities, and Graveyard content but never used # of cards in the hand.  One and only advantage being the second player in EOJ is essentially number card in the hand advantage.  So I feel like there should be more cards using this # as the benefit.

2+ Attack SO Potential 7 Can Be Added. So theoretically this cards could do 9 damage for 4 mana. Damn, am i understanding this right ?

Again thanks a load for all the work you put in.

Awesome job so far Hous !!! Thanx for answering my question about Romilio …

Bioliths continue to have the best artwork, best abilities, best UR’s, and coolest features it seems.

Anyways, a small request .. can you translate that monster of a card, the 10 cost Neutral thing that doesn’t attack ?? I think its the ‘Juno Eye’ … Cant wait to see how they expect us to play this for 10 and it has no attack. Must be some incredible ability tho …
