Stonedwarf captain, Zervis

Summary: Earth deck? No. Dwarf deck.  Here is the highly requested translation of the dwarf ultrarare.

Race – Hero
Affiliation – Novogus Dynasty

– Add one to its attack when target creature is on an earth field.
– While your creatures outnumber enemy creatures, all other allied creatures gain a protection and subtract one from their attack.
– While at least one allied dwarf is on a board, Zervis gains decoy against all adjacent enemy creatures

(A) N1,2/E1,2/S1,2/W1,2 (C)N/E/S/W (B) None

Comment: Personaly, I have never used decoy ability so I’m not sure if this card is useful or not.  But given the description of this card Fire Titan, and Vlo’s description, we can certainly say that “outnumber enemy creature” is a new theme of Set.3 ultrarares.

Seems ok .. but you dont see many Dwarf decks or even cards for that matter, make it into the metagame.

Dont know if this will change that …

  2. Great Card 😉 Thanks a lot for the translation.

Could be useful if you get the decoy working, especially if you have some protection for him as well… He does not seem very easy to remove with just magic.

Problem is u can’t give him protection with a Dwarf Warbanner, because his race is hero andn ot dwarf …..would be immensely overpowered 😀

  8. @anonymous: he can attack in all directions over 1 or 2 fields and has no blind spots, very good for a decoy ^^

This is going to the bane of many people’s lives, I can see it…
Whenever I’ve come across a dwarf deck, I’ve usually been beaten – they’re trickly little buggers and this makes them deadly too…
Time to start thinking like a dwarf – excellent card!
