Biolith Transmorph ~Ultimate Pro-Combo Card~

Summary: This is the exactly a kind of card that we’ve all been waiting for.

Race – Mech
Affiliation – Biolith Castle

3/3/4/1

– Instead of activating for attack, this creature can be sacrificed and may be replaced with any selected non-Ultra Rare from the library.  (This does not end your turn)

(A) N (C) N (B) S

Comment: 3 to summon, 3 to activate i.e. total cost of 6 mana.  Additionally no Ultra Rare so yes there are quite bit of things that make this card tricky to use, but having these type of card make the TCG game less luck dependent, which undoubtly make the game more strategy and tactics dependent.  Very interesting card.

    Somewhat overpriced in my opinion.

Poor damage on initial summon for cost, plus a further 3 mana to utilise special ability.

For 6 mana why would you mess around with this instead of simply using a Sentry or Battlemaster and getting the benefit of their attack?

I can see a few situations where it would be vaguely useful, if only it cost 2 mana with 2 activation, now THAT would be worth using…

you could use this card to kill a weakened craeture first and then summon moving isle of kadena for 1 mana less. i think that could be one of the very nice options with this card.

Why would you use this then summon a Kadena? you’re paying 2 mana more for the privilege…

    Still unconvinced…

Not a good card. As said by others above, six mana to summon something without the benefit of it attacking. The only cards you want to tutor up are the the ultra rares, not the ones you can have 3 of anyway and can just summon the old fashioned way.

This is an excellent card, and if used correctly could really turn the tide of a game… How many rare cards cost 6+? Get this out, hit something from behind and then turn it into something monstrous… It’ll take a skilled player to use it, but I can see it really taking off… And yes with Scion it’s unbelievable… Get him on with an ascension and you’re going to give your opponent trouble!

Probably the best designed card too – a classic and I’m always having one in my deck so beware!

Thinking more on this, this is going to be soooo useful for getting fortresses and bases out, really opening up the defensive game…
    Crikey…
There’s some fun to be had yet!
