Yaksha Stimulants ~ Shield or Weapon? ~

Summary: Interesting spell. You can use as a attack booster, health booster Or as a damage spell.

Comment: Obvious way to use this card is to boost your creatures attack or health, but wait!! There is no specification that you can’t use this against your opponent creature.  Use against enemy makes this card a damage spell.  For example, use it agains Gateway results in instance kill of the creature.  Though 4 to cast seems bit too steep. 2 would have made this card much more useful, or perhaps a bit overpowered so I would say maybe 3 would have been optimal.

    far too mana expensive! pity…

  2. This card might be useful for creatures with multiple target attack like Belta, Hu, Lug, Akhum and Dios. Results in massive damage by sacrificing a precious creature.

But wait, Novogus Catapult might be a possibility. Once on board on an earth field you might change its attack to six and its health to two. Activate it for one mana. Makes six damage for fife mana.

One question: What happens with creatures whose attack depends on mana or cards? Would Persuer of Saint Dhees get 13 HP when there are seven other creatures on the board?

Instant kill of some cards like:
Dwarf Warbanner (6hp on earth field)
Dwarf Battle Forge (7hp on earth field)
Novogus Sinbearer (7hp on earth field)

    Archiver 5hp
    Sciondar Gateway 6hp

    Hammer of Juno 5hp

Easy Battleship kill by giving it a 2hp instead of 8hp, and following with your favorite 2dmg card (Even a swordman could do it)

Set 3 seem to want to bring back elemental gods, yet this card could do well against them, bringing them down to 3 hp for an easier kill.

And sure enough, I’m really curious to see how it will work against creatures like Pursuer of St-Dhees too. Or a Jirva!

    @Real Gambler,

Don’t forget this card would also be ultimate killer for The Eye of Juno.

@Real Gambler: actually it won’t be an instant kill of the first 3 cards (if they are on their element) because they will keep the +2 field-bonus.

WAY too expensive. Another for the trash pile.

Every card with 0 attack is dead with this card (gateway, eye of juno, nightmare, etc. etc.)
Every card with 1/2 attack and tons of health (citadel / scion / battleship) is potentially dead using this and a 1 cost monster.
    It’s the ultimate emergency card…
Imagine using this on a card that attacks twice… or better still has quickness…
I think it has to be expensive otherwise it would too easily be used / abused…
    Cracking card!

The more I think about the possibilities fo this card, the more I like it, expensive? Yes. Board changing? Definitely!
