Nightmare

Summary: Second creature with Poison ability.

Race – Demon
Affiliation – Church of Parmus

5/4/4/0

– Magic Attack targets all enemy creatures with the same race.
– Poison Attack
– When an allied Church of Parmus creature is destroyed, all other allied creature gain 1 health point.

(A) All (C) None (B) S

Comment: I hope I am wrong about this, but Poison attack is useless ability. For those of you who don’t recall what this new ability is here is the description.  Poison = Upon completion of the attack, the target creature will lose half of its health.  If there is decimal point, round down the damage.  Since most creatures have 6 or less health, this makes at max of 3 attack i.e. 5 mana for 3 attack is very bad.  However, this ability is useful in this particular creature since she can attack all creatures with the same race.  So we’ll see how she does.

Now she’d be good with the blimp… as she’s not ultrare! I think halving people like Jirva, and some of the ‘winny’ cards is pretty valuable in one fell swoop, not to mention the forthcoming dragons (not forgetting makes short work of the juno cards and the bigger ‘liths like citadel / temple / etc)
The +1 health is simply a bonus!
    I want one! Now!
(I guess the only negative is no ‘out and out’ kill when you summon it) still, if you can kill something else first then get this out, it’s a must!

Not to mention all the cards giving CoP attack bonuses, she could be pretty awesome – put her next to an elephant! Or get magic master out via ascension, then her and you have an even more powerful card… I think Set 3 is really going to add that much need variety and excitement that Set 1 had (we’ll forgive Set 2 and the zealot fiasco…) I’m loving all the new cards, I wish we could have 50 in a deck and do marathon games! 🙂

Agree with you Houshasen. Another bad 5 summoning cost card. 5 cost cards need to be high impact. This is going to be pretty low impact the vast majority of the time.

I disagree. I think this card has great potential. With the addition of set 3 you can tell that their’s a bigger emphasis on race. I aspect to see more race driven decks and this card can potentially cut every enemy creature health in half (given that they’re all the same race) in a single attack. 5 mana is expensive, but given this card abilities I think it’s worth it.

You can’t use it as a checkbreaker, so the maximum creatrues u can hit is 3 if they’re all the same race. Might work in a CoP Deck, but I don’t think that CoP Decks will work too soon (no counterattack on most or all creatues since they’re magic attackers),

Yes, great potential in this card, Paydak’s down on every card that has been released, so ignore him… especially as he says he doesn’t even play it anymore (why are you so negative?!?!)
Anyway, I think, get this in after some of the set 2 cards that lower its cost, or cubic it, biolith centurion it, however you do it, it’s going to be an interesting card!
It’s potentially one of the hardest hitting monsters out there, especially against bioliths…
