EOJ World Championship Result

Summary: Finally the result of EOJ Championship is up, and the winner is..

Hmmm.. Never played against him.  Well, but I was only able to play a handful match during the Championship and that’s probablly why.

Following are the World Top 10 EOJ Players.

I would really like to see these top 10 people’s decks; however, Sony has not revealed them yet.  Or most likely they will never reveal them.  However, there was a mention that 1-2 mana costing creature focused Winny deck And 3 mana costing Balance deck were popular in this tounament.  Although they did not reveal any specific geographical information about top 10 players, they have mentioned that overall by far the players from Asia were ranked higher in place than any other region.

This is a bit surprise given that EOJ population I heard last was much higher in Europe and North America than Japan.

    That’s because most of the EU & US players stopped playing when the acusations of those at the top were cheating

  2. CYSTRONG is a cheater, as is wildball … they have even cheated in the actual rankings …. they are all the same person …. and the fact that Sony did not do anything to remedy this problem even though it was bought to thier attention is just pathetic …

    just some information all the top 5 players in ranked server right now are cheaters and quite possibly different accounts of the same person …

    Would not say that all top 5 are cheaters… Who knows, maybe there’s truly a way to move 5 pts in only a few hours (just kidding).

    Wondering if we will ever see Cystrong face, and if he played Wanatabe…

  4. i cant believe he had the audacity to have his card printed after blatant cheating and everyone finding out too … i wonder why sony didnt do something about it … meh this just shows thier lack of interest in the game …

    Oh I didn’t know that at all.

    @Real Gambler

    Cystrong has played against Watanabe. The result was Cystrong won the game secondary to Watanabe checking him, but was not able to summon 5th creature as he did not have enough mana and didn’t draw a card that he can summon.

    BTW, Watanabe has originally expected EU people to win the tournament based on the fact that he lost within matter of minute against EU Champion during GDC 2008.
