Share us the secret combo of yours

Summary: It seems like the possiblitiy is endless now with the addition of Set.3 cards.  I know that those of you who already own Set.3 cards  have special secret combos.  Perhaps, you won’t like to share the best combo you came up with yet, but what about the second best?

For those of you who have not noticed, this site has its own card listing page.  I have not completed the page (still missing Set.1 cards), but my intention of creating the page in first place was to make a card by card discussion, which turned out that the major EOJ Community sites already has.

So instead I am making this more of a simple quick look up page.  If the combo using a specific card seems a valid and useful, my intension is to add those combo to the corresponding card page. E.g.  293. Theraclave Tollgate But aside from this just knowing what other players came up with for new combo is just fascinating.

So please share us your combo with us.

[Thanks Fongy for the great idea]

  1. Just tried a new combo today, its expensive but its good.
You need a Blackhood Caravan on the field and then you summon a Behemoth Groundbreaker next to the Caravan (on the middle field is best), the Caravan gives Groundbreaker and all other allied Creatures next to it +4 Protection.
(even if the Caravan gets killed, the other Creatures dont lose the protection, its permanent)

I didn’t know the ability was permanent. That’s sound very solid combo as long as we have good mana boosting unit in the deck.

Perhaps somehow adding “Roving Penitentiary” may even make the combo better?

I may be talking a long shot, but what about placing Penitentiary between couple of allied creatures with +4 Protection. And use Dhee’s Migration over the Penitentiary if it is on Water field, use Building The Granvil if it is on a Fire field to kill it instantly so you gain 8 mana + 1 exit = 9 mana for the cost of 3 mana!

You could boost the combo by adding dwarf miner. If you have a dwarf miner on say field 1 and caravan on field 2, then dropping ground breaker on 5 would give 2 creatures 4 protection and would give 2 mana right back since two fields adjacent to dwarf miner are quaked (fields 2 and 4 in this case).

  4. @houshasen: I have the Roving Penitentiary in the same Deck, but I was never able to use its mana generation ability, because at that point where you already have creatures with 4 protection or more on the field, you have usually already won and dont need it anymore.

By the way I also used Novogus Mammoth and Forgotten Fortess in the same Deck, they work pretty good with the Caravan too.

As previously said – Moggy Howdah and Siam Sentry – to make each other invisible / perfect dodge…

Lusirion with a soul huntress and any other elf, you can permanently keep your library static (if played near the end game) great for decking out…

Don’t forget Koog is CoP – I’ve created a great deck using him with Magic Master and Aluhjam Inquisitrix…

Zealots, if you have 16 in your deck, you win everytime (ooops, that was Set 2, controversial!)

Capo and Latoo work well together fairly easy to get out too…

Partmole Blimp – it also gets intercept you know – two of those blighters out, ouch!

Barrager and Clare Wil’s banner = 2 mana cost for potential 8 attack… (min 4 attack)

More to come as I play!

Missionary Ship + Palmetic Vengeress next to it = expensive but great for a) preventing attacks on you from existing creatures b) keeping your hand full of lovely creatures to discard if required! Replace Ship with Biolith Temple and you have a cracking combo…

    @Fongy,

I have been always curious, Is intercept additive ability like Dodge attempt? More intercept, more likely it carries out the attack?

  8. I think Biolith Ascention for Scion Triumphant would be very evil…

    Just thought of this one…

Siams Sentinal and any color cubic. It would not matter what direction you face the cubic since it will have perfect dodge, so align it with the sentinal and you have a perfect dodging cubic. On it’s own color that 3hps of perfect dodginess (meaning you need some hard hitting anti dodge or heavy magic to take out a 1hp critter). Better than a white cubic, immune to flame novice unlike the white cubic, on it’s own color can take a shot even to the blind side from a sniper.

    Good combo 🙂

    @ drizzle

With your combo, because the white cubic has a single dodge AND perfect dodge, I wonder whether a novice would still kill it? Time to find out!

    Similar to drizzles…

(this requires just 4 mana after you have transmorpher out)

    Biolith Transmorpher…
    Then change it to Moggy…
Then put down invisible white cubic…

Next turn Eye of Juno? Scion Triumphant? Whatever you like!

Oooooh, sends shivers down me spine!
