Why Sony Why?

Summary: So there are 6 new cards out of 30 cards from PSP Legend are revealed so far.  My biggest question still remains…

I know it is part of the site design as all the other card appears that way, but why did Sony make these card appear exactly the design of PS3 version?

The PSP version of card don’t actually have anything close to PS3 card designs.  Are they just doing this for consistency?  OR Are they doing this so in the future….

Ah ha! Yes, I had that very same thought a month or so ago when the card images for the ‘patched’ (modified) cards for the PSP version were first revealed on the Japan web site.

If the ‘patched’ cards as well as these 30 new cards are ONLY intended as in-game digital cards for the PSP version, then why bother to show them with the cyber codes and green tracking triangles? Surely those camera-only markings are not need for the digital cards.

So…..it *might* be a sign that Sony plans to print these as physical cards for a update to the PS3 EoJ. That would be fantastic news!

Who could we email to ask if there are any plans to update the PS3 version at all.

Basically, I just want to know is an update coming or not. Yes or No. New Cards for PS3 or not. Yes or no.

As soon as the PSP version was announced, I have sent an Email to SCEA EOJ Marketing person. At the time, he basically did not reveal anything aside from the standard answer “we’ll provide exciting information as soon as we can”

Now I have just sent another email today. My guess is that I will get the same response.

The hardest thing here is Sony probably don’t want to say “yay” even if they plan to. The reason is that would potentially decrease the sales of EOJ PSP.

They probably also don’t want to say “nay” because that may sound like abandoning PS3 EOJ fans completely, which could potentially upset them(us) and decrease the sales.
