Summary: Set.2 biolith changes.

175. Athenix Citadel

Race – Base
Affiliation – Biolith Castle

3/2 1/4/1

– All other allied creatures of the same element as the field where Athenix Citadel is located gain +1 Magic Protection.

(A) Any 1 (C) None (B) None

Comment: Now with so much support for unielemental deck expected, this type of card will gain much more popularity.  To further boost it, he has 1 magic attack for 1 mana cost.  So once you summon him, you can use it as Flame Magus.

177. Biolith Centurion

Race: Mech
Affiliation: Biolith Castle

3/2/4/1 2

While Biolith Centurion is on a Biolith field, subtract 1 from the Activation Cost of adjacent allied creatures.

(A) N (C) N (B) S

Comment: 3 mana cost for 1 attack was nothing but inefficent.  Now with attack of 2, maybe someone might find this card useful.

182. Battle Master

Race – Mech
Affiliation – Biolith Castle

6/4/6/3

– Battle Master attacks the same target twice.  The target’s counterattack occurs after the second attack.
– When Battle Master is summoned, you may take a Scion, Biolith Lord from your library, reveal it to your opponent, and put it into your hand.  Then shuffle your library.
– Enemies within the 2 fields to the front, back, left and right of Battle Master add 2 1 to their Activation Cost and cannot Dodge.

(A)N1/N2/E1/E2/S1/S2/W1/W2 (C) N/E/S/W (B) S

Comment: Still very powerful card, but at least cards such as Fog,  Tree Foxes can be used to counter.

185. Biolith Temple

Race – Base
Affiliation – Biolith Castle

7/5/7/3 1

– Biolith Temple’s Magic Attack targets all enemies of the same race as the target.
– Each time an enemy is summoned, choose a creature from your graveyard that is not ultrarare and shuffle it into your library.
– Each time an allied Church of Parmus creature is summoned, you may choose a Church Parmus creature from your graveyard that is not UltraRare, and return it to your hand.
– If an allied Scion Biolith Lord is on the board, you steal the exit mana of enemy creatures.

(A) All (C) None (B) None

Comment: Have we figured out that Reset deck is now going down?  It is still action packed card and still support Parmus Church deck.  So having attack power of 3 was nothing but overkill.  Especially, it was problem for people who wanted to make Race deck.  This is definitely appropriate change.

186. Sciondar Gateway

Race – Ancient
Affiliation – Biolith Castle

7/5/6/0 1

– Each time an enemy is summoned, reveal the top card of your library. If the revealed card is a Biolith creature, you may summon it immediately if you are able. If you do not summon it, put it into your graveyard. That creature cannot attack this turn.
– Biolith Invocation
– Subtract 1 from the Summoning Cost of other allied Biolith creatures (minimum 1).

(A) None N (C) None N (B) None

Comment:  When I saw this first time, I thought this was overpowered card as this is the only card that allow you to essentially summon 2 creatures within one turn (one turn of yours and enemy’s).  But the it was much harder to use than expected as you must first be lucky enough to draw Biolith Creature, then you must have sufficient mana to summon the creature, which is generally expensive as they are Biolith creatures.  Giving 1 attack change this?  Most likely no, but still interested in seeing a deck revolving around this card.  May be with all new changes, it may happen.

  1. Sciondar Gateway should have 8HP at least. This would be the perfect change to the card. I mean, 7SC for 6HP is a bit of a waste.
