【HEX】 Power of the Marked Card

My first exclusive article for HEXRealms.  Let’s talk about the potential of the Replicator Gambit.  Is it overpowered?  Is it just a fun/dream card?  Some very basic statistical analysis included.

Conclusion is this card is certainly not overpowered as it stands, and if anything it is too luck dependent.  However, with right supporting card and deck building, this is so powerful that can be key card(s) for combo archetype.

See here for detail.

If nothing else I like that it’s a mechanic you really couldn’t use in a game that wasn’t digital. This is assuming of course it’s active for the exact card you put in the deck and not just any that share that name.

I am pretty certain at least for Replicator Gambits you are marking only a single copy; otherwise, this card is way overpowered. And I absolutely agree with you that these type of cards are unique/innovation in HEX though for many people at first glance not appear evident.
