The patch applied a few days back were rather major one. Not only some of the new cards were added but some of those were truely new i.e. I never seen on either alpha card list that was released while back as PDF nor was on the HEX TCG Browser database site. Furthermore, there were major card balance changes. With all these together, it proves one thing. HEX is no different from other dTCG. It will continue to see balance fixes as we go along.

It is always the ultimate question for TCG. What is the best deck? Obviously, there should be no perfect deck that can win every single game; otherwise, the TCG balance is broken. But what’s the deck type that provides the highest winning rate? As of today, perhaps this is the one…
It’s the third and surprisingly the last wave of alpha invites i.e. everyone who had backed this game is now invited to the alpha.
It’s buggy, and I could have only played 5 games or so for each of decks that I constructed i.e. 2. But when I can play the game, its the best experience since I’ve ever had with my very first TCG. It is too early to conclude anything here, but certain it is meeting my expectation. Here is my limited first impression that I posted on DigitalTCG.com.
First of all, alpha test has not started yet. Supposedly, invitation will be sent at 6:30PM today for those who donated Grand King and above during the kickstarter ($500). Even those of you who are still not getting the access today, all the cards are now revealed (for PvP) and yours to download and carry around anywhere in a format of PDF.
Good news. The alpha is still on its track.
As expected (?), beta has been pushed but not just by weeks rather its by months. Believe or not, there are some good things about this delay.
