When I originally introduced this dTCG, I have talked about its potential based on the way the game is set up i.e. parallel universe. The game has certainly showed its power quickly with continued addition of new factions rather than just cards. In fact, the Elphie Coyle, CEO of Lightmare, has mentioned potential of adding other known franchise to the game as his potential goal. Now I have had totally forgot about this. Lightmare shown what it can do.

The year 2013 was certainly a big dTCG year. The big 3 (Hearthstone, HEX, and Solforge) all became playable. But that’s not all the story. There were other great dTCGs. Among them, personally Infinity Wars deserves the one of the top spot for its game’s potential. I am glad to see the game continues to show its evolution because the game really has the potential. December 13 will be another big step of Infinity Wars.
Those of you who are mobile platform gamers, may not know what the “steam” is. But it’s a gaming platform on PC, and also Mac, and Linux. It’s the biggest one on the desktop/laptop platform with over 50 million users.
Here is an official video talking about the all the excitement of Infinity Wars happening in October.
Perhaps this may be an overstatement, but the upcoming update with Rise set are not just expansion of card pools, but rather some robust fundamental game system changes.
Are you excited about the Rise but waiting until 8/31 is way too long? Here is a good news.
Well from the alpha version, I have been saying the biggest concern of this game for its potential success that it deserves is “its cost”. Now this is getting harder and harder to assess for me because this game offers some free reward options, which initially started out as somewhat like Shadow Era i.e. yes. free rewards but practically hard to get real competitive card using it. Let’s take a quick look at the history of how it is evolving in terms of FREE rewards. Of course the main reason why I talk about this today is “I love what I see.”
Infinity Wars continues to evolve. The best thing about this game is the developers listen to communities. Yes. they are rather small company, but that may be why Lightmare tries to focus on the priorities where players care the most. This time with the latest update, they have added new formats for play.
Summary: First official tournament is here.
