Perhaps, it’s about a time or way overdue, but HEX’s first true PvE play video is now available.
The game is now on the steam greenlight. Although there are still over two weeks of kickstarter campaign remaining the pace of pledge looks like had been stalled. I believe main reason behind the relative lack of support is lack of advertisement/publicity of the game. So hopefully, Steam Greenlight will help that.
WOT started as dCCG and quickly changed to dTCG. It was a major change that tipped me to be a strong believer and supporter of this game. But it was undeniable fact that there was a bit concern about how would this be exactly implemented. It could have been compromised system with just a name of trading system. However, this concern is over. What we will see in WOT trading system is not a real trading system but it takes things at a level beyond.
One of strength of the WOT is wide coverage of various card types from the get go. We all know there is creature/troop and spell cards as those are pretty much standard for any dTCG/dCCG. Then some game has dedicated resource cards. What’s missing here? Well, some games refers to as “artifact” and others may say “constant” and perhaps others may say “equipment.” What do you think the WOT have? It has “object” and it’s not just one of the above, but perhaps all of the above. Let’s take a look.
I am still debating whether my purchase of iPad Pro was worth or not especially without still not being able to get Apple Pencil or Smart Keyboard. But one thing I decided to do is just search for some dTCG/dCCG on iOS platform. I know I did the search awhile back but not surprisingly there were many more since then. Couple games caught my attention and I had downloaded them. One advantage of iOS/Android platform compared to Windows or OS-X is probably the abundance of dTCG/dCCG that are free to play (at least for starter). Today, I am going to write a bit about “Mabinogi Duel”, which is actually among the three games caught my eyes, it’s my favorite so far.
If you are long term follower of this blog, you must know how I feel about resource system. It essentially defines the level of detail the game supports. Whether more sophisticated/complex game is better than the games taking simple, quick to play is matter of personal preference, but at least we know which direction the game is going.
