Comment: Again, I believe Toll ability is interesting concept, but this creature itself seems not to useful. Summoning cost of 5 with reactivation cost of 3. This means you will spend 8 mana to steal 2 mana. Stealing means double damage to opponent so essentially 4 mana worth of move, but still costing 8 mana for it? I’m not sure if it worth the effort. Perhaps, combo with some other cards might make this card much more useful.
idk, put this next to an elephant where you pay 4 mana to steal 4 mana… It does seem over priced for what it does, much like queens servant in set 1.
You might also combo this with Clare Wil’s Banner for an activation/spell cost of 4 mana and steal up to 4 mana. That’s an eight point swing…
this card won’t be usefull cause with these new cards many people won’t save up mana anymore
Well, we have not seen many anti attrition cards yet, so this could be a decent one… Perfect dodge, so no way to weaken it. Would survive Vizak. And since you always end up with tons of mana and it’s a magic attack, you could use it for two dmg and minus 2 mana which would be pretty hard on those decks. But, yep, not that usefull against typical decks until we see all the cards…
This card could have been worthwhile if it stole mana when played, but yeah, I think you’re right. This card is pretty bad.
I think people should see the 5/6 cost cards as a) usable with a cubic / mimic / warlord or when given additional bonuses…
So you get this out free, then it costs you 3 mana to steal 2 = 1 mana cost to sap your opponet, pretty good
Add clare will’s banner = +1 mana for you -4 mana for your opponent…
Plus perfect dodge…
It’s not as bad as it looks, it’s initial attack of 2 is also handy…
Again, if used skillfully, it could be a real pain…
Let’s not dismiss these cards so easily…
And with teeth like this one it’s likely to bite you from behind… 😉
