Wishlist ~ New card idea ~

Summary: At this point, almost all of us are at the acceptance stage that there will be no future expansion of EOJ, but because it is Trading Card Game, there are few of us like me who still cannot completely give up on the idea of Set.4.  Follow are some of interesting imaginary cards that Japanese hardcore EOJ players came up with.

Eye of Judgment Manager World Cup

Summary:  Aren’t we glad that we have active communities to carry on this great game?  EOJ Manager is holding World Tournament.

Sony’s New TCG

Summary: No. It’s not EOJ 2, but it’s from Sony so should we accept this as new TCG game for PS3?  

Dioskuri Tournament

Summary: Looks like SCEA is still alive when it comes to EOJ.   Here is finally the official Sony hosted complete EOJ tournament.  Oh by the way, I am alive as well…

EOJ is not dead

It has been busy lately with work and playing White Knight Chronicle; however, I have been checking Japanese official EOJ website everyday so that if there is any new big news, I can share with you all.  Still nothing big, but it had been almost 3 weeks since the last update on the official EOJ site.   This made me a bit worried.

EOJ Calendar

Japanese PSN now sells EOJ Calendar for 2009.

This is theme background based calendar for your PS3.  For entire 2009, it costs 500yen (approximately US$5).  Alternatively you can buy one of 6 individual calendar theme e.g) Jan/Feb, March/April etc.  These individual ones are selling for 100yen each.

Sure this doesn’t seem much exciting news, but at least we are still seeing something new for EOJ, which I believe is good sign.

Complete Set has been cancelled.

Summary:  The message that Watanabe-san posted on the Japanese EOJ official site is in fact on the page where it titled as “Notification of Complete Disc Cancellation.”

End of Biolith Rebelion

Summary: As most of you have already read this on one of other EOJ Official Community Site, but EOJ Creator Yusuke Watanabe has recently sent us an EMail.  Well actually SCEA Manager did.  But following is what Watanabe-san Said.

Sample Deck ~ Silver Bullet Deck ~

Summary: Personally this card was one of the most eye catching card in Set.3 for me because of its ability.  At first, I even thought my translation could have been wrong.  However, in reality several readers on this blog reported this card was much harder to use than expected.  Obviously, I live in North America and still do not have Set.3 card, so can’t say for sure, but once again Asahara done this for me.  He posted yet another conceptually interesting sample deck that uses “Missionary Ship” as a key card.

Time to Play EOJ Offline

Summary: Changing the distributor from WoC to UpperDeck appeared to have done nothing.  Well, I guess I was wrong.  It seems like UpperDeck is placing a bit more attention to the EOJ than WoC.  Upper Deck Japan’s official site now has what’s called “Analog Rulebook.”
