Summary: Here are 3 more cards from Set.2 including Ninja equivalent of Set.2, a missionary creature.

HP/Attack – 2/1+

– Decoy
– A creature in front of Sand Diver Canine can only attack creature with Decoy ability.
Comment: A cheap decoy creature.

Blindspot: Back
– Verzar Fort Crush Hammer adds 3 to its Attack when at least one target include Base.

169. Tolicore Zealot (UC)

Attack: Two fields in front
Counter: Front
Blindspot: Back
– You steal exit mana of enemy earth creatures.
– During your resolution phase, your opponent must discard cards equal to the number of allied Fire missionary creatures.
– Subtract 2 from allied Fire Missionary Creatures (minimum 1)
Comment: Another discard ability possessing creature? It seems like Sony really want us to use discards in the Set.2…
Thanks for the additional spoilers. ^__^
BTW is Sand Diver Canine the right number? (145) as I already have it recorded as the Mischiveous Skeleton Soldiers from one of your previous posts… also what attribute is it?
Nevermind.
Sand Diver Canine IS the right number (145), Mischiveous Skeleton Soldiers is 144.
>_<
Can someone please explain to me Decoy ability.
I’ve seen it come up before, but I don’t get it – can someone explain how its supposed to work please?
We definitively need to see the attack pattern… Tolicore Zealot is more than likely attacking only one of the two square in front of him (like the Juno Tree), but not both at the same time (like the Great Minos)… With all the other abilities, it doesn’t need that much firepower. But who knows, I have been wrong soooo many times.
Tolicore Zealot – might be the ultimate Nemisis to decks with Novagus Catapults – assuming stealing the exit mana INCLUDES the extra mana not just the single mana point for the creature.
Decoy: If the pre requisites are met (In this case, if a creature is in front of Sand Diver Canine), then only Sand Diver Canine (or another Decoy creature) may be chosen for attack.
Example: Biolith Bomber is in front of of SDC. Bio Bomber can therefore ONLY attask the SDC, regardless of other creatures in it’s attack range.
Dang it! Tolicore Zealot and cards like it will be my BIGGEST enemy. I’ll be sure to destroy them ASAP! >_<
Oh, and I like Verzar Canines better than the new one. It plays a good role, yes, but nothing compares to the opening play of Canine + Monk.
I like the decoy ability a lot and it is probably one of my favorite new abilities right behind intercept. It really is a crazy ability. My question about decoy is can they still use attacks that target a decoy and another creature?
Example: Great Minos has two creatures in front of him 1 being sand diver canine (facing towards Minos) and 1 non decoy creature. In this scenario would the minos still be able to use his attack? He is attacking a decoy but also a non decoy creature at the same time. I came up with three possible answers but not sure which one is correct: 1. Minos’ attack ONLY damages the sand diver canine 2. His attack damages BOTH creatures 3. Minos can’t attack at all because he is targeting a non decoy creature with his attack. I think just for game balance that #2 is the one that will actually occur but #3 would be so cool.
this is why the game needs to come out on the 27th so that I can test this stuff 😦
Also I hope the example is not confusing 🙂
Also is it a typo or can sand diver canine increase his attack?
personally think # 2 will be the answer, but until we get the cards we can’t test that out. Although i do like idea of the decoy ability
I would guess #2 as well.
As for 1+ attack, I think it’s a typo from the Source, but Source did have 1+. So who knows.
